Newbies!
Y’all, LinkedIn is INSPIRING and MOTIVATING
BUT
It’s also INTIMIDATING.
So many bright and knowledgeable LNC’s there that are super established.
Every post they write makes sense. They are so knowledgeable which is encouraging that this LNC niche makes you learn so much quickly.
Every morning, I am saving and taking notes on their posts! They are that good! Consistent gems are dropped!
I am starting to wonder as a newbie LNC, do I just stay in the background until I am established.
I mean like, there’s no way I can apply or break down a subject area without having done actual LNC work.
At what point will I cross over from newbie to in the game?
I guess LinkedIn is kind of a weird space.
I can’t go blowing my horn announcing I’m a newbie because that would be bad for business unless someone just wanted to take a chance on me. LinkedIn is a place to showcase your expertise.
I assume, there’s a ton of newbie LNC’s in LinkedIn Land that are patiently waiting. Observing from afar. Excited to get in the game once we have more experience and can write posts from a working LNC’s perspective.
Right now, I would love to write/post on LinkedIn. I am thinking that I am going to start writing about what I know…what I’m currently an expert in, then go from there.
Thoughts? Feelings?
